Candace Macpherson is a skilled Nurse Practitioner specialising in dermatology and medical-grade skin treatments at Grounded Aesthetics.

With a clinical focus on evidence-based skincare and chronic skin conditions, Candace brings a calm, clinical precision to every patient interaction, fostering skin health through consistent, tailored care.

A Foundation in Dermatology

Candace’s journey in nursing began in 2009 after earning her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Queensland. She spent seven years working as a Dermatology Nurse at Westside Dermatology, where she trained under Dr. Davin Lim and Dr. Tania Zappala, gaining hands-on experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments.

In 2019, she completed her Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies (Dermatology) and transitioned to Northern Dermatology, focusing on complex skin conditions, chronic disease management, and advanced dermatological care. In 2025, Candace joined Grounded Aesthetics, bringing her extensive clinical expertise to support patients with targeted skin treatments.

Dr. Davin Lim & Dr Tania Zappala (2012–2018): Dermatology mentorship with a focus on skin health and evidence-based treatments.

Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies, University of Queensland (2019): Dermatology focus, chronic skin conditions management.

Northern Dermatology (2019 – current): Advanced dermatology care and medical-grade skin treatments.
