With over 15 years of nursing experience and a reputation for delivering naturally noticeable results, Kristy Macpherson is the heart behind Grounded Aesthetics.
As the Founder and Cosmetic Nurse, Kristy blends her extensive clinical background with a patient-first philosophy, ensuring every treatment is a step toward balanced, authentic beauty.
A Journey of Expertise and Compassion
Kristy began her nursing career in 2008, graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Nursing. She spent her formative years working in the Infectious Diseases Ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she honed her precision, patient care, and meticulous approach to infection control – a commitment she continues to uphold in every cosmetic treatment at Grounded Aesthetics through stringent sterile practices and comprehensive post-treatment care guidance.
In 2012, she transitioned to Westside Dermatology, where she gained valuable experience in laser treatments, chemical peels, and assisting in dermatology procedures. In 2014, Kristy completed her cosmetic injectable training. She continued working under the mentorship of Dr. Davin Lim at Westside Dermatology, where she gained advanced experience in injectable techniques. In 2016, she joined Laser Clinics Australia as a full-time injector, further refining her skills over the next seven years.
